DMS-IIT Delhi Placement 2019: Department of Management Studies (DMS) at IIT Delhi has recorded 100% Placement for its MBA 2017-19 batch with Higher Average CTC at INR 18.47 LPA. The Highest CTC offered goes up at INR 32 LPA while the Average CTC for the top 25% of students has gone up to INR 21.73 LPA.
Backed by strong industrial relations, the placement season for the MBA batch 2017-19 witnessed overwhelming participation from the previous recruiters along with new recruiters. Despite its large batch size of 111 students, DMS IIT Delhi has recorded a sharp hike in the Highest and Average CTC offers in Placement 2019. Diverse roles across the domains were offered by companies in BFSI, Consulting, IT/ITES, Manufacturing, and Analytics among other sectors.

DMS-IIT Delhi Placement Trends
DMS IIT Delhi has concluded the final Placement 2019 with 62 recruiters participating in the placement process. Average CTC offered in DMS-IIT Delhi Placement 2019 has gone up at INR 18.47 LPA from INR 16.54 LPA last year. Highest CTC has also gone up to INR 32 LPA in 2019 from INR 26 LPA last year. 62 Companies from varied domains reinstated their belief in DMS IIT Delhi, owing to the diversity in academic background and work experience of the students.
IIT Delhi Registrar talked about the placements at DMS and said that this year the department recorded best placements despite the fact that there was a 24% increase in the batch size. The Registrar added that there has also been an increase in the number of leadership roles offered to students. Of the total offers rolled out, 27% were leadership roles.

DMS-IIT Delhi Placement 2019: Top Recruiters
MBA Placement 2019 witnessed a record 62 recruiters making it the largest till date. A total of 128 offers were made to 111 students. Incidentally, the batch size at IIT Delhi has increased by 24%. Despite the increase in batch size, placements season proved to be one of the best for over a decade for MBA students at IIT Delhi. The placements for the 2017-19 batch witnessed participation from companies across sectors with offers from multiple domains.
The list of recruiters includes industry giants like Deloitte, Amazon, Shell, Google, GE, Accenture Strategy, Rockwell automation, GAIL, Maersk Line, Shell, KPMG, E&Y, Hero, IBM, Dell, Crisil, Futures First, Synergy Consulting, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant Business Consulting, Virtusa Polaris, Absolut Data, IOCL, C DOT, HDFC, Maybank, Hughes, Lava, CP Group, and many more. There was a participation of various companies from different sectors including Banking, Consulting, Telecom, E-Commerce, Manufacturing, IT, and Finance.
The participating companies also brought a huge range of profiles for the candidates. Finance domain witnessed profiles ranging from Project Finance, Financial Risk Specialist. While the profiles in Sales & Marketing spanned across Marketing Leadership, Sales Specialist, Pre-sales Consultant, and Associate Director Sales. Operations Domain saw many sought after profiles like Digital Operations, Strategic Sourcing, and Program Manager. As for the IT, Consulting & Analytics domain, the profiles ranged from IT Leadership, Business Development, Senior Business Analyst, and Risk Advisory.
Successful completion of the Placement 2019 season is the outcome of the meticulously crafted curriculum, grooming of the students by business leaders, industry-oriented teaching and alumni support. The Department of Management Studies, IIT Delhi launched its MBA programme in 1997. At present, DMS IIT Delhi conducts a two-year full-time MBA programme (Focus on Telecommunication Systems Management) and a three-year part-time MBA programme (Focus on Technology Management). The students are admitted through a rigorous screening process that includes CAT score, WAT, Group Discussion(GD) and Personal Interview(PI).
