IIM Nagpur 2018 Cutoff

The IIM Nagpur 2018 cutoff for MBA Admissions 2018 is reduced to 2 sectional and 90 overall percentile in CAT 2017 as against 80 sectional percentile last year. Going forward, IIM Nagpur would be awarding an MBA Degree instead of Post-graduate diploma to its alumni, as per a provision of IIM Bill 2017 passed by the Parliament recently.

IIM Nagpur 2018 Fee Structure is around Rs.11.50 lakhs for a 2-year MBA 2018-20. It is not as high as that of many other reputed MBA/PGDM colleges. Average Salary of Rs.12.11 lakhs in Placement 2017 is compatible with some of the best Business Schools in India. Notably, IIM Nagpur’s low fee and rising placement record makes this MBA College one of the highest RoI B-schools in India.

IIM Nagpur announces lower cutoff for MBA Admissions 2018

In contrast to IIM 2017 Cutoffs, IIM Nagpur has announced lower cutoffs required to shortlist the candidates for PGP 2018 Admissions leading to MBA Degree.

Notably, CAT 2018 percentile score cut-off is the single criterion considered for the first short-list at IIM Nagpur. Candidates who possess minimum cutoff scores in all sections of the CAT 2018 exam only will be considered for the admission process.

IIM Nagpur has reportedly clarified that these cutoffs are not for admission offers whose scores could go much higher.

IIM Nagpur Revised Fee Structure 2018-20

The IIM Nagpur has revised Fee Structure 2018-20 for the MBA-PGP 2018-20 batch. Hence, two years PGP Fees for IIM Nagpur will be around Rs. 11.50 lakhs for the 2018-20 batch as against Rs.10 lakhs plus last year.

Candidates who seek admission in IIM Nagpur will reportedly eligible for Education Loans from leading banks who offer Study Loans in routine at concessional rates as per Government of India guidelines from all the IIMs, not barring IIM Nagpur.

IIM Nagpur 2019 Average Placement Package

IIM Nagpur 2017 Placements for the Batch of 2017 reflects the trends of it turning into a high RoI B-school. IIM Nagpur Admissions 2018: Weightage and Criteria

One of the key changes that IIM Nagpur made this year was conduction of its own PI/WAT round by following the Admission Policy of IIM Ahmedabad. Notably, till last year, IIM Nagpur was following a simple and liberal admission policy with no GD-PI-WAT.

1. You will receive an e-mail from IIM Nagpur, if you meet the prescribed cutoffs from IIM Nagpur for Admissions 2018, before the third week of March 2018. This would reconfirm your desire to take Admissions in PGP 2018-20 at IIM Nagpur by a stipulated date. The deadline to reconfirm your interest in IIM Nagpur would be around March 2018.

2. Weightage for IIM Nagpur Admissions 2018 would depend on your academic profile, work experience, diversity to arrive at the composite score to shortlist you for final selection round which comprises Personal Interview and Writing Ability Test.

4. A Comprehensive Score (CS) based on the CAT Performance (CP), Academic performance (PAP), Work Experience (WE) and Diversity (Di) scores will be calculated as follows:

CS=0.35 * (CP Score) + 0.40*(PAP Score) + 0.2* (WE Score) + 0.05*(Di Score)

4. A shortlist will be prepared based on the comprehensive score (CS) and shortlisted candidates will receive an email from IIM Nagpur around the first week of April 2018.

5. The candidates will be required to submit a detailed application, including details of marks in Bachelors’ Degree, copies of all marksheets, copies of marksheets, copies of work experience certificates, certificate of disability (if applicable), scheduled caste / scheduled tribe / other backward class — non-creamy layer certificate (if applicable).

6. Candidates who will submit the detailed application by the stipulated date will be considered for the next stage of the admission process.

7. Post completion of WAT and PI process at IIM Nagpur, candidates will be receiving the admission offer. Final Score (FS) of the candidate will be calculated as follows:

9. The selected candidates will be receiving provisional admission intimation by e-mail.

10. For confirming acceptance of the offer, a candidate has to pay an acceptance fee of Rs. 50,000 which will be adjusted towards Term I fees subsequently.

IIM Nagpur to not participate in CAP 2018

IIM Nagpur will not be participating in the Common Admission Process (CAP) 2018 being conducted for 11 new IIMs, including 5 of its peers namely IIM Amritsar, IIM Bodhgaya, IIM Jammu, IIM Sambalpur and IIM Sirmaur. IIM Nagpur, as mentioned earlier, will be conducting its own PI/WAT round this year and will be announcing the minimum required CAT 2018 cutoff percentile to shortlist the candidates for final selection round.

IIM Nagpur Intake to go higher

IIM Nagpur currently has an intake of 60 students, out of which 28 seats are available for General candidates and rest 32 are divided among different reserved categories. However, it is expected that IIM Nagpur may revise its intake upwards. As per IIM Nagpur, the batch size will be 60 students. The intake will be revised before the admission process begins and appropriate changes will be made based on the revised intake.

IIM Nagpur began its operations in 2015 with an announced batch size of 60 students. The 2018-20 batch will be the fourth batch of IIM Nagpur.
