IRMASAT 2019: Why Choose IRMA?

Institute of Rural Management (IRMA), located at Anand, Gujarat, provides admissions to the Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM) programme. This exam is generally conducted in the first week of February from 11th-23rd at the IRMA Campus. The IRMSAT 2019 Computer-based exam will be followed by a Group Activity (GA) and Personal Interview (PI) on the same day.

Also, the domain of Rural Management, in general, has been witnessing a massive boom for the past couple of years. In the IRMA Placements 2019, the Highest CTC shot up to Rs. 50.38 lakh. Even IRMA Placements 2018 recorded the Highest CTC as 46.50 lakh. This is both due to students increasingly wanting to flock towards development sector careers and for top development companies that participate in the IRMA Placements process. In IRMA Placements 2019, a total of 119 recruiters have made a total of 407 job offers. Notably, Amul or GCMMF was the largest recruiter with as many as 20 candidates. Other affluent agri-business companies included Afriventures, ITC agribusiness division, ADM Agro, Godrej Agrovet, National Bulk Handling Corporation, Seedworks, Adani Wilmar Pidilite, Future Group, Grofers, Big Basket, Metro Cash & Carry.

IRMA Selection Process 2019

  • IRMA will shortlist candidates as per their CAT 2019 and XAT 2019 Scores.
  • In the Final Selection Process, candidates will appear for the IRMASAT 2019 exam, which is a mandatory Social Awareness Test.
  • The final selection of the candidate, however, will depend on the CAT 2019/XAT 2019 exam score and performance in IRMASAT 2019, Group Activity, and Personal Interview.
  • It is mandatory for applicants to appear for CAT 2018 / XAT 2019 and IRMASAT 2019.

  • Case – There is a rich Parsi woman with a deceased husband who wants to donate her wealth to charity. 6 options were given, had to select one and speak on it for 2 minutes.
