IRMA Placements 2019 for the Batch 2017-19 have concluded. Maximum Salary offered was 50.31 lakh, bagged by the son of a BSF (Border Security Force) constable. Minimum Salary stood at Rs. 6.50 lakhs, chosen consciously by a student from the development sector.

Notably, median salary packages for IRMA’s 38th Batch of it’s two-year flagship programme has shot up to 14.7% to Rs. 11.47 lakh per annum as against Rs. 10 lakh offered last year.

  • The recently concluded placements at IRMA (Institute of Rural Management), saw 407 offers from 119 recruiters for the 38th batch of Post Graduate Programme in Rural Management (PRM 38).
  • IRMA Batch Size was 167.
  • IRMA Placements 2019, conducted between February 4 and February 9, 2019, hosted corporate bigwigs including Adani Wilmar, Godrej Agrovet, ITC Agribusiness, Pidilite, ICICI Bank, IDFC Bank, Tata Trusts besides renowned startups such as Grofers, Big Basket and NinjaCart.
  • 28 students received Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) from several organizations.
  • Median Salary for IRMA graduates registered a 14.7% jump this year to Rs 11.47 lakh per annum as against Rs 10 lakh offered last year.
  • Salary from Corporate group recorded a robust 17% jump over last year. Average Salary stood at Rs. 14.24 lakh per annum as against Rs. 12.17 lakh last year.
  • Average Salary packages offered by the development sector organizations including NGOs, cooperatives and government development agencies stood at Rs 10.43 lakh per annum. Notably, this is over 10% higher than Rs. 9.47 lakh offered last year.
  • IRMA revealed Maximum CTC offered as  50.31 lakh. The Minimum CTC stood at Rs. 6.50 lakhs.
  • Also, IRMA received 407 job offers from 119 recruiters for the batch
  • Notably, this year, great interest from the CSR foundations for recruitment has been observed. Also, organised retail came in large number to recruit.
  • We have seen great demand from Rural Sales and Marketing segment,” Professor Pratik Modi, Placement Coordinator at IRMA, told renowned newspaper The Hindu Businessline.
  • Notably, IRMA Placements 2o19 experienced a substantial increase in the number of overall job offers compared to the IRMA Placements 2018..
  • Notably, Agribusiness, among all the verticals, saw the Maximum Average Annual Package at Rs 19.71 lakh, followed by FMCG and Retail at Rs 14.15 lakh and Rural Sales & Marketing at Rs 13.51 lakh.
  • ‘Amul’ marketer, Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) remained the top recruiter with 20 offers. Other cooperatives and producer cooperatives 32 offers in total.
  • 28 students took up offers by NGOs, development agencies and CSR foundations.
  • Organizations like UNICEF, Tata Trusts (FISE), Vedanta Foundation, Reliance Foundation, BAIF Development Research Foundation, BRLPS – JEEVIKA, Precision Agriculture for Development, Responsible Mica Initiative, REHWA Society, and Access Livelihoods Consulting (ALC) recruited through the IRMA Placements 2019.
  • Also, leading recruiters from Banking, Insurance and Finance include Fullerton, Vivriti Capital, Northern Arc, Caspian Impact Investments, ICICI Prudential, Bharati AXA, Reliance General Insurance along with several small Finance Banks.

  • IRMA 2018 Placements also recorded 100% for its Batch 2016-18. The 37th Batch of its two-year flagship programme PG Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM) were held on February 12-17, 2018.
  • Keeping up with its 100% Placement Record, 180 students from the Batch 2016-18 were placed within 3 days.
  • Highest Salary stood at Rs. 46.50 lakh. Lowest Salary offered was 3.5o lakh by a grassroots NGO.

  • The Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (AMUL) again was the largest recruiter in IRMA Placements 2018. It shelled out 16 offers.
  • Cooperatives/Producers Collectives as a sector recruited a total of 30 candidates.
  • KPMG recruited in the Consulting domain.
  • Highest number of graduates were recruited from Banking, Finance, and Insurance companies
  • Campus recruiters included ICICI Bank, IndusInd, IDFC Bank, Fullerton, Tata AIG, Bharati AXA, Reliance among others.

The IRMASAT 2019 Exam has commenced from February 11, 2o19 and would conclude by February 23, 2019. It is a national entrance test to secure admission into the PGDRM 2019-21 Batch. Notably, IRMASAT is the Social Awareness Test conducted by IRMA for admissions. Candidates need to appear for CAT/XAT Exam followed by the mandatory IRMASAT Exam, concluded by the Group Activity (GA) and Personal Interview (PA) Rounds.
