About the MAH CET 2019 Exam

MAH CET Result 2019

MAH CET 2019 Exam took place on March 9 and 10, 2019. The computer-based objective type MAH CET 2019 Exam comprised of 200 questions in total to be solved in 150 minutes. The MAH CET 2019 Exam Pattern remained the same as that of last year. The exam was marked with a lengthy and difficult Logical Reasoning but moderate Abstract Reasoning. Quantitative Aptitude remained moderate, but Verbal Ability was found moderate to difficult. The overall exam difficulty level was moderate and similar to that of MAH CET 2018.

How is MAH CET Result 2019 computed?

DTE Maharashtra will use the methods give below to calculate the MAH CET 2019 Results-

  • Every correct answer will carry 1 mark and there is no negative marking scheme in MAH CET  exam.
  • The correct number of questions answered by the test takers in the examination.
  • The corrected scores obtained by candidates are made equivalent with the minor differences in the difficulty level of each of the examination held across different sessions to arrive at an equated score.
  • Scores obtained by candidates in the exam are equated to the base form by considering the distribution of scores of all the forms.
  • The total score is prepared considering decimal points up to two digits.

What to do after the declaration of MAH CET Result 2019?

What is MAH CET Centralised Admission Process (CAP)?

Post declaring MAH CET Results 2019, the officials will conduct the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) tentatively around the first week of June 2019.

  • All India Ranks (AIR) of the test takers will be determined based on the marks secured by them. 
  • The institutes/colleges which accept MAH CET 2019 scores will allot students on the basis of their respective admission criteria.
  • Notably, DTE Maharashtra will conduct multiple CAP rounds at regular intervals. On completion of the MAH CET 2019 Counselling Process/CAP rounds, the final list of selected candidates will be declared in different stages between June to July 2019.

MAH CET Counselling Process 2019

Once after the announcement of MAH CET Cutoff 2019, the candidates have to fill up the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) form on the basis of their MAH CET 2019 Score and Percentile to participate in the admission process.

Given below are a few points with regard to MAH CET Centralised Admission Process (CAP):

  • CAP is completely an online process and will be through the State Common Entrance Test Cell.
  • Qualifying candidates will participate in CAP 2019 by filling up an online application form. This process will take place in the months of May-June 2019.
  • Thereafter, the candidates will be required to get all their documents verified and participate in the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) round at the Facilitation Centre (FC).
  • Once the GD/PI process gets over, the provisional merit lists will be released category wise and round wise. Candidates have to fill up the Confirmation of Online Option Form to indicate their preferred course and the institute.
  • The lists of provisional allotment of CAP Round I, II, and III will then be released indicating the allotted institute and course.
  • The candidates have to report at the Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) to accept the seat and complete the admission process.
