Changes in CMAT 2019 by NTA

There were several key changes made by the NTA, since it was the first time the exam was conducted by this body. Earlier, AICTE used to conduct the exam and the Answer Keys were also not published. Earlier AICTE used to conduct CMAT in a single session, unlike CMAT 2019, which was held in two sessions.

The 5 major changes by the NTA made in the exam are as follows:

  • The exam was held in two sessions, morning and evening.
  • The Registration Window was open only for 30 days.
  • There were 4 Test Cities instead of 3.
  • No open window for application correction, meaning there was no chance to edit the application form post its submission.
  • NTA released the Answer Keys and recorded response, i.e., Response Sheet.
