TISSNET Exam is conducted by Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai for admissions to the Post Graduate courses offered at its various campuses. TISSNET is a Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted in 40 exam centres across India. What to Expect in TISSNET 2020?
- The number of questions is expected to remain the same in TISSNET 2020. Section-wise distribution of questions will also remain the same in TISSNET 2020.
- The difficulty level of TISSNET 2020 Exam is expected to be easy to moderate, with expected TISS Cutoff to be in the range of 72-78 marks for TISS Mumbai flagship HRM course.
- General Knowledge section is expected to be the toughest section across the three sections, with a healthy mix of static GK and current affairs, and special focus on Social and Economic Issues. Language skills and the Quantitative Ability section would continue to be the easiest.
- Logical Reasoning part is expected to be on the moderate difficulty level.
- Verbal section would continue to be vocabulary heavy.
TISSNET Exam Trends: TISSNET 2019
- TISSNET 2019 exam had 100 questions to be solved in 100 minutes. The overall difficulty level of the exam was easy.
- There were 30 questions from the Quantitative Aptitude, LR and DI section and the level of difficulty level was easy. Topics which dominated the paper are Arithmetic and LR Topics like Set theory, Family Tree, Series Completion, Blood Relation, and Coding Decoding.
- There were 30 questions from Verbal Ability and the level of difficulty was easy. This section was dominated by Reading Comprehension, Fill in the blanks, Spotting the error, Odd man out and Analogies.
- There were 40 questions from General Awareness and the level of difficulty was moderate. Out of the 40 questions, there were 25 static GK questions and 15 were based on the current affairs.

TISSNET Exam Trends: TISSNET 2018
- The overall difficulty level of the paper was easy. The exam pattern remained the same as 100 questions to be solved in 100 minutes.
- In the English Proficiency section, there were a total of 30 questions. This section was easy when it comes to the difficulty level.
- Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation section had a total of 15 questions and all of them were sitters.
- Reasoning Ability comprised of 15 questions and level of difficulty was easy.
- TISSNET 2018 General Awareness section was moderately difficult with 40 questions.

TISSNET Exam Trends: TISSNET 2017
- The test comprised 100 questions carrying a total of 100 marks. There was no negative marking in the test and most of the questions were of easy to moderate level of difficulty.
- GK was the toughest section of the paper and slightly more difficult as compared to last year.
- The Quantitative Ability & Logical Reasoning section had 30 questions in total and can be called fairly easy. There were 11 questions on DI, 12 questions on Mathematics, and 7 questions in LR. This section was a cakewalk and the easiest section of the exam.
- Verbal Ability section comprised of 30 questions and were of easy to moderate level of difficulty.

Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their TISSNET score. The shortlisted candidates then are called for a round of Pre Interview Test and Personal Interview (PIT/PI) leading to final selection. All the Best!
